The Selection Process

Couple meetingThe Basics

  • Who is the memorial for? (Is it a single or double memorial?)
  • What are the names and dates to be engraved?
  • What cemetery will the memorial be placed in?
  • Are there any cemetery restrictions/regulations?

The Next Step - Personal Choices

  • Granite color/finish
  • Size, style and budget preferences
  • Personalized design options (hobbies, faith, family, etc.)
  • Accessories: photos, vases, etc.

Creating a Design

  • Meeting with a memorial consultant to select designs/artwork
  • When all information, the design and a price has been determined, a purchase agreement is signed and a deposit is placed to secure the memorial
  • A computer generated design proof is provided using the specified information/designs for approval by the family.
  • After review of the proof for accuracy and approval of design, the family will approve and sign design, or request revisions to the presented design.
  • A signed computerized design must be obtained before engraving on the memorial can proceed.

  • Carlyle Memorials will obtain the memorial material and begin the engraving process.
  • Your memorial will be installed in the cemetery and you will be notified when it is completed.
